Estate

The Pauleczki-Vin Winery is located in the village of Tolcsva, in the heart of the Tokaj Wine Region. Our vineyards are located around 3 villages: Mandolás-dűlő (4,5 hectares – Tolcsva), Budaházi-dűlő (14 hectares – Olaszliszka) and St. Ignác-dűlő (9 hectares – Sárazsadány).

The Pauleczki Winery has 27,5 hectares of vineyards, of which 22 hectares are at full growing potential and 5,5 hectares are being replanted. Currently 75% of our vineyards are planted with the Muscat Lunel grape variety and 25% are Furmint. In the near future – due to replantation – the winery will expand in terms of grape varieties used: Kövérszőlő, Kabar and Zéta grape varieties will also be available to produce outstanding Tokaji wines.

The high percentage of aromatic  grape varieties, superb Tokaji vulcanic soil, unique microclimate, yield limitation and careful winemaking techniques are all important factors that helps the company to produce intensely aromatic, high quality, internationally recognized  wine specialities from year to year. The company combines the traditional wine-making techniques with modern technology carefully to produce the superb Tokaji Aszú wines that has made the company famous. In the recent years our estate was developed in numerous ways: Our estate was renovated, significant fraction of our vineyards were replanted and we managed to increase our capacity with a new building, that enables us to store an additional 1200 hl of wine.
